Welcome to the digital platform operated by Kombat Taekwondo Corporation, a Panama corporation (“Kombat Taekwondo,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By creating an account, accessing our website, mobile application, or any of our digital services (the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions as well as our Privacy Policy.
By registering for an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use our Platform or services.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• If under 18, parental or guardian consent is required.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your details updated.
• We may verify eligibility at any time.
• Identity Verification: We may require identity verification before granting full access; non-completion may result in suspension.
• Security Responsibility: You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and all activity under your account.
• No Liability for Negligence: We are not responsible for unauthorized access due to compromised credentials.
• Directory Requirement: Referees certified by Kombat Taekwondo and clubs approved by Kombat Taekwondo acknowledge that their inclusion in public KT directories (seeSection 13(c)) is a condition of certification or approval.
Prohibited actions include: fraud/illegal activity; harmful, offensive, defamatory, or misleading content; harassment/threats; attempts to hack or disrupt systems; unauthorized use of our name, branding, or IP.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate any account at our sole discretion, including form is conduct, fraud, or activity harmful to our reputation or integrity.
• Payments: All payments are final and non-refundable.
• Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback/dispute will result in permanent termination.
• Termination & Cancellation:
- Grounds include violations, fraud/chargeback abuse, or 24+ months of inactivity.o
- We may cancel or suspend memberships at any time, with or without notice.
• Upon termination, access ends and no refunds or reinstatements are provided.
• Fees are payable in the currency shown at checkout.
• Users are responsible for bank charges, wire fees, exchange rate differences, and taxes.
• For recurring plans, you authorize automatic billing until canceled per our cancellation policy.
By registering for or participating in any Kombat Taekwondo–sanctioned event, you acknowledge the inherent risks of martial arts training and competition. We are not liable for injuries, accidents, damages, or losses before, during, or after participation.
Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You may not sell, assign, or share your account without our prior written approval.
• You are responsible for all materials you submit (documents, resumes, certifications, videos, applications).
• You grant us the right to review, store, and use submissions for verification, licensing, event participation, and operations.
• False or fraudulent submissions may result in denial of services or permanent termination.
You must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws when using the Platform. Violations may be reported to authorities.
• Agreement Updates: We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updates.
• Data Security: We take reasonable measures to secure data, but no system is 100% secure. You acknowledge potential risks (e.g., cyberattacks, breaches) and waive claims against us for such incidents.
By creating an account, you expressly authorize Kombat Taekwondo Corporation and its affiliates to use, publish, and publicly display your name, country of origin, rank, photographs, videos, likeness, and other submitted materials on our website, mobile apps, event programs, live broadcasts, and promotional channels.
• Authorization is worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, and irrevocable.
• You waive any right to compensation, royalties, or further approval.
• Removal requests from public listings must be submitted in writing and may take up to 120 days to process; information may remain public during processing.
Our names, logos, branding, and proprietary materials are protected. Unauthorized use is prohibited and may result in legal action.
To maintain transparency and uphold standards, Kombat Taekwondo publishes official public directories, which may include, without limitation:
• Certified KT Referees: name, certification level/status, country/region, certification dates/validity, and (if provided) club affiliation.
• Approved KT Clubs/Do-jangs: club name, location (city/country), approval status/validity, primary contact or public-facing email/phone (if provided), website or social handle (if provided), and affiliated head instructor.
Conditions:
• Condition of Certification/Approval: Inclusion in the relevant directory is a condition of holding KT referee certification or KT club approval.
• Accuracy & Updates: Listed referees and clubs are responsible for keeping information current and accurate. We may verify and update directory data.
• Removal & Status Changes: Requests for de-listing (e.g., resignation, lapse, or revocation) will be processed within up to 120 days. We may annotate entries as “inactive,” “expired,” or “revoked” during reviews or disciplinary actions.
• No Endorsement of Non-KT Entities: Only KT-certified referees and KT-approved clubs are listed. Non-KT entities may not imply KT endorsement.
Our Platform may link to or integrate with third-party services (payment processors, streaming providers, social media). We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
If Kombat Taekwondo is sold, merged, or acquired, user accounts, rights, and obligations may transfer to the new entity. These Terms remain binding without additional consent.
• These Terms are governed by the laws of Panama.
• All disputes must be resolved by binding arbitration in Panama.
• You waive the right to participate in class actions or pursue claims in other jurisdictions.
We may retain user data for legal, operational, and archival purposes after account termination. Users may request account deletion per our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for compliance with laws in your jurisdiction.
You are responsible for securing your devices. Posting defamatory, misleading, or harmful content about Kombat Taekwondo online may result in termination and/or legal action.
• Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Platform or violations of these Terms.
• Disclaimer: Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
• Force Majeure: We are not liable for failures due to events beyond our control (e.g.,natural disasters, government actions, strikes, pandemics, cyberattacks).
These Terms may be translated. In any inconsistency or dispute, the English version controls.
If any provision is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
