Terms & Conditions

By using Kombat Taekwondo (“KT”) services, you consent to the collection and use of your KT Member data as specified in your registration entries.

You are entering KT Black Belt Dan Conversion/Dan Application registration system as a KT Licensed Club Owner, hereby the “Recommender” to submit KT Black Belt Certification applications for your students who have met all KT requirements to receive KT Black Belt Dan Certificates based on the information you submit.

To qualify for the Kombat Taekwondo Black Belt Certification, candidates (“Applicants”) must obtain a recommendation from a licensed Kombat Taekwondo Club Owner or Instructor ("Recommender").

Recommenders are ONLY authorized to apply for KT Black Belt Dan Certifications up to their own Black Belt dan level. For example, a 2nd dan Black Belt Recommender can only submit Applicants for KT Black Belts, up to the 2nd dan level.

Recommenders are permitted to submit KT Black Belt Conversion applications at any Black Belt dan levels, regardless of the Recommender’s current Black Belt rank.

Kombat Taekwondo reserves the right to reject, deny, or limit any applications for KT Black Belt Conversion and/or KT Black Belt Dan Application based on the following reasons:

- Any or all information provided in the KT Black Belt Conversion and/or Dan Applications is inaccurate.

- The identity of the Recommender applying for KT Black Belt Dan is falsified.

- The identity of the Applicant KT Black Belt is falsified.

- The KT Club Owner/Recommender has engaged in illegal activities or breached the terms and conditions established by Kombat Taekwondo.

- The Applicants have failed to meet the necessary requirements for KT Black Belt Dan Certification.

- The application for KT Black Belt Conversion and/or Dan Certification is intended to disrupt social order.

Kombat Taekwondo may limit or deny approval of KT Black Belt Dan applications if it is proven that the contents provided by the applicants are false.

This includes, but is not limited to, discrepancies in the applicants' names, dates of birth, dan ranks, etc.

Terms & Conditions

KT Black Belt Dan Applicants mandatory data collection includes the following:

- Legal First Name
- Legal Last Name
- Date of Birth as it appears on governmental issued identification.
- Nationality- Highest Guep or Black Belt Dan Rank with supporting document.
- Recent Head Shot Photo.

Recommenders and Applicants have the right to withhold the aforementioned information; however, no refunds of KT Black Belt Conversion and/or Dan application fees will be issued to the Recommenders or Applicants, and KT Black Belt Certificates will be withheld, until all required information is provided.

Recommenders are PROHIBITED from transferring, gifting, or using their status and rights under the KT user agreement. Violation of this policy will result in immediate permanent termination of KT Licensed Club status. As a result, no refunds will be made for KT Licensed Club membership fees.

Refunds will not be provided if KT Black Belt Dan applications are denied for the reasons outlined above.

All KT Black Belt Dan Conversion and/or Black Belt Dan Application will adhere to the following timeline:

- Approval, Processing and Digital Delivery: Up to 4 weeks from the date of KT Black Belt Dan application submission with full payment.

All KT Black Belt certificates will be issued in electronic format only. The certificates will be sent via email as a digital file to the respective member club or recommender.

It is the responsibility of the club or recommender to print and distribute the certificates to their candidates. Please note that KT will not mail printed certificates under any circumstances.

Terms & Conditions

Kombat Taekwondo will collect, use, manage, and protect the information of all KT Members.

Kombat Taekwondo reserves the right to modify or delete KT Members' personal data as necessary to ensure data protection.

The Kombat Taekwondo Terms and Conditions become effective immediately upon clicking "I agree to all terms and conditions of this service agreement" below.

Release and Waiver: In consideration of being permitted to participate in the activities organized by Kombat Taekwondo Limited, the Recommender hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue Kombat Taekwondo Limited, its affiliated entities, their respective administrators, directors, agents, officers, members, volunteers, and employees (collectively, the "Releasees") from any and all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any nature whatsoever arising out of or in any way connected with myRecommendation of my KT Black Belt Dan applicants, including any claims due to the negligence of Releasees or otherwise.

Acknowledgment of Understanding: The KT Licensed Club/Recommender has read this release of liability and waiver of lawsuits, fully understands its terms, and understands that substantial rights are being given up, including the right to sue. The undersigned acknowledges that this agreement is entered into freely and voluntarily without any inducement, assurance, or guarantee being made and intends for this waiver and release to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.

By using Kombat Taekwondo (“KT”) services, you consent to the collection and use of your KT Member data as specified in your registration entries.

You are entering KT Black Belt Dan Conversion Application registration system as a KT Individual Member, hereby the “Individual” to submit KT Black Belt Certificate Conversion applications for yourself who have met all KT requirements to receive KT Black Belt Conversion Certificate based on the black belt certificate information you submit.

To qualify for the Kombat Taekwondo Black Belt Certification, Individual must submit a copy of their black belt certification and a copy of government-issued identification, with the name and date of birth matching on both documents.

KT will only issue conversion Black Belt Certifications that correspond to the applicant’s verified Dan level, and no higher Dan rank will be granted.

The KT Certificate Conversion (Re-Certification) fee is USD $50.00 for all belt levels.

Black Belt Conversion

Convert your existing Black Belt rank to a KT certification

KT Black Belt Conversion is only available to current non-KT Black Belt Dan holders who wish to apply for a KT Black Belt Certificate in the same Dan Rank, issued by a non-KT Organization previously.
